A highly experienced contracts manager with experience using NEC suite of contracts & has worked on large scale and complex projects before.
Overview
The Contracts manager will be responsible for leading the whole contracts lifecycle, using NEC suite of contracts within the Government Major Projects Portfolio (GMPP). They will be responsible for developing best practices and driving continuous improvement. The Contracts Manager will also have to have excellent relationship building skills with stakeholders & suppliers and able to navigate difficult conversations.
This role is not a procurement role, it is entirely contracts focused, and we are looking for candidates who are contracts focused opposed to procurement focused.
Key Skills
- Proven experience using NEC suite of contracts and able to work with these contracts with ease
- Prior experience providing contract management for a large programme of works in the public sector
- Able to develop and create best practice and processes
- Confident working on own initiative and is driven to succeed
- Comfortable with post contract management - speaking to suppliers, delivering outcomes and having difficult conversation
Location, Remuneration and Timeframe
- London, 2-3 days a week in office
- £800 a day, inside IR35
- 6 month initial contract with a highly likelihood of extension
